Net friends!

There are some people who like to put others down for having net friends....but i have found that most of my net friends are truer to me than my real time friends. I have met alot of people in the past 2 1/2 years here, and most of them have turned out to be great friends. And alot of times its easier to talk to someone you cant see face to face then to talk to your real time friends. Especially with my situation here but im learning to be more open to my family and my friends thanks to GaToR. I have been truly blessed with him. *VBS* I love ya GaToR!!

ok...I've purposely avoided this thread..but here goes...

I have met so many wonderful friends on the net...I cherish alot of the relationships I've made here..and yeah, it is easier to confide in someone here then face to face.

I met the best friend, who is the best listener I've ever met on here...and unfortunately, he's gone for a little *hangs head* More than anything else, I miss the talks I had with him, and having someone here to confide anything and everything to...I hope he's back soon *sigh*

this is funny this thread is in existence right now, because i'm currently working on something that has to do with meeting people on the net...i wont get into what it is exactly, but someday (if all works out well), i'll be able to explain it all

it still never ceases to amaze me the access we have to the entire world via our computers, and what can transpire just by virtue of what letters we clack out from our fingertips, which page(s) on this vast WorldWideWeb we each choose to type on or read, and other such variables....our souls seem to entwine within these threads of electrons, wrapped around the planet like a huge ball of yarn, making someone in Australia feel like they're sitting just on the other side of the glass from me, *tap tap*, with their moon shining through their window, as the sun beams through mine at the same time

it's nothing short of miraculous when you think about it, although so was long distance phone-calling at one time, to the people to whom it was first introduced, i'm sure....this is kind of the same thing, yet we get images, as well as sounds, plus so much more, to experience together in these smart metal boxes....

words are very powerful things and are often underestimated....some folks see chatting as just plain stupid, and they're right, sometimes it is.....we've all seen the bullshit that goes on in chat, where bored assholes come into the room with nothing much to say except "ANYONE WANNA FUCK?".....*L....but the lucky percent of us who have experienced what it's like to read someone's words, therefore their thoughts, and devoted enough time to allow a relationship to develop, know how rewarding and special it can be....

as with anything in life, it has its dangers, and it's all too easy for people to become something they're not on here, or for someone else to be deceived by them....but that only makes the ones who are true all that much more valuable

i only hope that the people i've connected with in here realize that they're in my offline thoughts as well as on, and more often than they might think......and that their friendships mean as much to me as if they were my next door neighbors

Okay here goes my mush thread...I have meet some really great,wonderful people from the net and grew very close to them,care for them immensely,I consider them TRUE and REAL friends, I would do anything for them because I love ya ....Trixi,Sam(m),Blaze,phantas & minnow & robin....some I enjoy our talks & how you just make me laugh.... chloe,Mystic,macy,shy,mel,heidi,rotten,2,GOD,Jane, lily,Bri,mRs.gaTor,gaTor,Deb,Leo,
CG,Twi, porch sis, and anyone else I might have over-looked ....I have been here alittle over a year,learned alot from others and for that I'm truly greatful even the pain was worth knowing cause I found out who was a TRUE friend..and Blaze,I got the pleasure of meeting her in real,she's a sweetie just like online...good things do come from the net!!!
